Attention: Due to ongoing renovations at Albert Community Centre, from April through the end of May we are temporarily moving our Thursday night meetings to Mayfair Church at 902 33rd Street West. Enter through the East door, off the parking lot, we are in the classroom on the left.
Once the calendar turns to June, we will be Dancing In the Park, on Thursday evenings! This year we will be meeting in Glacier Park.

About Us

We are a nonprofit organization that promotes dancing from countries and ethnic regions around the world. We are a recreational club and welcome anyone interested in folkdancing. We love to share our joy in Folk Dancing with others!! Come dance with us so we can pass along ancient and modern traditional style of dancing from everywhere for many more decades to come.

During the months of June, July and August, we have Dancing In The Park! For the summer of 2025, we will be in Glacier Park.

How To Join

September 1st to May 31st

  • 6:55 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.: A review of recently learned dances and teaching new dances.
  • 8:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.: Request dancing. Everyone can request dances they want to see or do.
  • June 1st to August 31st

  • 7:00 p.m. Dancing In The Park at Glacier Park (weather permitting)
  • Cost:

    (Prices are subject to change)
    Membership: $20
    With a membership, you can pay All Thursday dance fees at once:
    For the 2025-26 Season = $100
    1/2-year fees are also an option:
    Jan - May - $55
    Sept - Dec - $55
    Or if you only want to dance occasionally, with membership each drop-in fee is $4
    Drop-in Fee : No membership required
    $5 per evening
    Your First Thursday indoor dance lesson is free! So come and try out Thursday Night Dancing.

    Summer months are free (No formal lessons are given; however, members will help guide. Watching and following behind another dancer is also a good way to pick up the steps.)
